Units quickly extinguished this fire on Luna Negra Dr. that appeared to start in the kitchen after cooking unattended on the stove. Two occupants were displaced. @RedCrossCFL is assisting. A dog was found during the search that perished from smoke inhalation. No other injuries.

On Saturday am, WFD responded to a home fire at 6th & Dawson. Investigators determined the fire was accidental & electrical in nature. There was extensive damage & 6 occupants were displaced & assisted by Red Cross. One person was transported for non-life threatening injuries.
