Idea that impeaching an ex-president sets a dangerous precedent just doesn’t make much sense. What’s the worst case scenario this precedent could produce? Not much.
Meanwhile, think of the worst case scenarios that could manifest from letting the precedent of Jan 6 stand. Huge.

I want student loan debt canceled even though I don’t have student loans for the same reason I want public schools funded even though I don’t have kids.
There’s no punch line or quip here, it’s just that I don’t hate other people nor do I enjoy their suffering.
It’s really that simple. I struggled with six figures of student loan debt. I was even homeless at one point. But I was lucky enough to be able to pay mine off, but I know most won’t. Why would I want everyone else to struggle? Just because I did?
Do you consider an optometrist and essential annual exam? Like, is it worth risking my health to go in an elevator to the 4th floor of a fully enclosed office just to read an eye chart so I can get allergy eye drops? This seems unnecessary given our current Covid crisis.
She’s being manipulative and trying to upsell you so she can bill your insurance my old optometrist used to do this to me which is why she is my *old* optometrist. You don’t need to read an eye chart to get drops.
