When it comes to revitalizing the environment, sometimes the best thing we can do is take a step back.... Removing ourselves from the land is the one action we can take that allows nature the time and space it needs to heal itself. @judithdschwartz

"The fight for Indigenous rights has never been more important for all humanity. It is no coincidence that more than 80% of the world’s remaining forests and biodiversity is in Indigenous hands. We are global leaders of green movements."
At the rate humanity is currently burning fossil fuels, we'll create an uninhabitable earth long before we run out. So if the pressure of a finite resource doesn’t push us towards a renewable energy revolution, what will?" - @csmaje

The "feasibility" of reducing emissions fast enough to stay under 1.5C depends entirely on whether you are willing to consider post-growth and degrowth policy.
The US has rejoined the Paris agreement. Now this is what needs to be done for the country to uphold its fair share of the 1.5C target. 83% reduction by 2030, from 2018 levels. This will take a very big fight (and a lot of organizing).

“Breaking free of the 1% and their constructs is not just possible, it has become necessary. It is a human necessity because participating in a world of limitless greed, profit, violence and power robs us of our humanity.” — @drvandanashiva
Water is always changing and impacting the environment around it; storms form, droughts occur, and floods damage. It seems that the level of water on Earth is bouncing between extremes. These shifts are tied to the state of our climate. @judithdschwartz
Capitalism and public health are incompatible
